Gyms
Pokemon World Cup Gyms
- All combats (Gym and League) are doubles
- Each Gym can be accessed at 3 tiers:
- Yellow Cup
- Crystal Cup
- Emerald Cup
- If a Pokemon is above the Max Level for a Cup, their level is automatically adjusted to the maximum
- The player must defeat 2 goons and the Gym Leader to claim the Cup's Gym Badge
- The player must present any 8 different badges of any tier to challenge the Elite Four
- They can do so only in one of the cups they won the badges in

Gyms
Pokemon World Cup League
- The player, along 15 other NPC trainers, must win a single elimination tournament
- After that, they get the chance to challenge the reigning Champion
- The player must present any 8 different badges of any tier to challenge the Elite Four
- They can do so only in one of the cups they won the badges in
Pokemon World Cup Island
- After the player has won the League for the first time, they get an invitational ticket to the Pokemon World Cup Island
- In this island, the Battle Tower is hosted
- Compete, until your team dies out, against an NPC after another for amazing prizes
- Also the online tower will be found
- A complex of rooms to play online with others
- Finally, the player can access the World Cup
- Here they can challenge, as normal fights:
- Champions from other regions
- Elite Four from other regions
- Gym Leaders from other regions
- Emblematic trainers from other regions
